Leap from within

Transformational and lasting change from the inside out to take up the space the universe intended for you.

The Fourth Industrial Revolution, finally, will change not only what we do but also who we are. It will affect our identity and all the issues associated with it: our sense of privacy, our notions of ownership, our consumption patterns, the time we devote to work and leisure, and how we develop our careers, cultivate our skills, meet people, and nurture relationships.”
– Klaus Schwab

The nine pillars of The LEAP Journey®

The LEAP Journey® rests on nine key pillars that provide the philosophical underpinning and a guiding theory for what it is to be a LEAP Thinker®. A LEAP Thinker® is an authentic self-leader who, in a complex and uncertain world, seeks meaning in life and work by continually and timely renewing him or herself towards realising this ideal.

1. You deserve a life of meaning (Meaning)

There is a growing need to find meaning in this world. We don’t only question the meaning of our jobs and our relationships, but also our very existence. We often don’t understand our purpose in this world and what value we could bring to our communities and societies at large.

At LEAP Academy we believe that each one of us received a unique gift and that you can only find meaning when you clarify what your gift is and give full expression to it.

2. You are a multi-dimensional being (Wholeness)

We are complex, multi-dimensional beings and as such a holistic approach to personal transformation is called for, that considers all aspects of our being, and that teaches us how to find a balance between the different dimensions of our lives.

At LEAP Academy we don’t only encourage you to pursue a productive or successful career, we also encourage you to find balance between your different life dimensions and to apply an integrated perspective on your life and career.

3. You are uniquely and perfectly you (Authenticity)

Finding out who we are at the core, is a journey, and it can be an awe-inspiring one. The more you step into your authentic self, the more wisdom you will develop, which will increase you capacity for living a life of meaning.

At LEAP Academy we believe success is not defined by a collection of assets, an accumulation of power, or cash in the bank; it is living out our true purpose in life. Every single one of us will express success differently, because every single one of us can do something that someone else cannot.

4. You are the author of your life (Authorship)

Your most important work, is to figure out how to be the best version of yourself” - Caroline McHugh

Socrates once said that the unexamined life is not worth living. The choice to unlock your authentic self and live out your sole identity is yours. The more you step into who you truly are, the more you will understand yourself, your purpose, and the part you play in this world.

At LEAP Academy we will help you to understand how you specifically think, feel and should thus choose your path in life and work.

5. Personal transformation is an inside-out journey (Transformation)

Most change programs and coaching interventions focus on changing the perception others have of you. They focus on behaviour change or on changing your personal or professional brand. These changes are superficial and will not bring about sustainable, long-term change.

At LEAP Academy we advocate for a change in identity and not merely in outcomes and processes.

6. You are shaping the connected world (Connection)

We are biologically driven to connect, and we share a universal need for love, friendship and belonging.

At LEAP Academy, we advocate for sustainable and mutually beneficial relationships and collaborative partnerships. We believe that we connect on a human level and not just on a technological level, and we advocate for connection instead of competition.

7. Transforming yourself is a lifelong process (Learning)

No real growth of any true value can come out of times of happiness and complacency. The real discovery happens during those times that our character is tested.

On The LEAP Journey® learning is not a once-off occasion; it’s a lifelong process. Failure becomes an opportunity for learning, unlearning and re-learning.

8. Navigating the complexity of the new world of work requires agility (Agility)

Innovating yourself is a continuous dance that requires an agile mind and heart. Learning to embrace and run with the changes brought about by the Fourth Industrial Revolution helps us thrive in the new world of work.

At LEAP Academy, we view self-innovation as a type of poetry in motion. A LEAP Thinker creates from what emerges in their environment.

9. A long and productive life requires energy and vitality (Vitality)

People are living for longer and can have multiple productive and rewarding careers in one lifetime.

At LEAP Academy we believe that to maintain vitality, we need to build physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health. We need to embrace learning as a way of live and invest time and energy into building long-term, sustainable relationships that will see us through over a long life.
